We are a small business
manufacturing good quality 5" AND 71/4" gauge battery electric diesel outline
locomotives, with a range to suit all pockets, payment being with cash, cheque
or credit card.
OUR RANGE HAS INCREASED
CONSIDERABLY SINCE STARTING, AND THE LOCO'S TRUCKS AND TROLLEYS HAVE BENEFITTED
FROM LASER CUT CHASSIS AND COMPONENTS,NEW LOCO'S HAVE BEEN ADDED WITH ALL STEEL
CONSTRUCTION
To purchase a locomotive a 20% deposit is required and on
completion (usually 12 -14 weeks approx. for kits approx 8--10) payment in
full. Locomotives can be supplied in any stage of construction with or without
control unit - unpainted bodyshell as from mould etc. Please ask for a quote.
We do not have building drawings for the loco's but we are able to
supply all the raw materials - frame steel, axles, springs, fasteners etc. If
you are interested in purchasing a locomotive or parts - please ring for a chat

TERMS OF BUSINESS
MAIL ORDER
Payment by cheque (please allow clearance time), postal order or major credit card all acceptable. Please remit with order. Cheques/postal orders to be made payable to Model Engineering Products (Bexhill).
POSTAGE AND PACKING
A charge will be made at cost on all orders in line with current Royal Mail charges. Steel and brass over two feet might incur additional charges. All goods dispatched to customers are not insured unless specifically requested and an additional fee paid.
TRADES DESCRIPTION ACT
We endeavour to describe the goods we sell correctly, any error is thus unintentional on our part. If contacted we will correct any mistake at no cost.
OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS
Overseas customers should remit by International Money Order, Banker's Draft or credit card. Cheques are accepted provided they can be cleared through a UK bank. All monies must be in sterling, payable to Model Engineering Products (Bexhill).
LOSS OF GOODS
Our liability ceases when we dispatch the goods (a record of posting is obtained). Unless the appropriate insurance is arranged, compensation cannot be obtained.
GOODS SUPPLIED
Faulty goods will be replaced free of charge once they have been returned. Returned goods for any other reason will incur a handling charge of 20%. All goods will be invoiced at the price ruling at the time of dispatch. Orders should be written clearly and, if possible, in BLOCK CAPITALS along with your name and address.
